Eligibility Criteria of Indian Army Agniveer Female Recruitment
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 21 years. Candidate born between 01 Oct 2002 to 01 April 2006 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
Age Relaxation: Upper Age limit will be relaxable upto 30 yrs of age (as on date of joining training) in respect of widows of Defence personnel who have died in harness.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must be class 10th/Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading system, min of ‘D’ grade (33% – 40%) in individual subjects or grades with 33% in indl subjects and overall aggregate of ‘C2’ grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate.
**For Indian Gorkha women, the educational qualification is Class 10th simple pass.
Other Criteria: Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements.
Widow Women: Women who are widowed, divorced or legally separated are also eligible provided they do not have any children subject to fulfilling all other eligibility criteria.
Physical Standards:
(a) Height: 162 cms.
(b) Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical standards.
(c) Chest Expansion: The candidates should be capable of chest expansion of 05 cms.
Special Physical Standards: Candidates belonging to following regions will be given 4 cms height relaxation:-
(a) North East Region: Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya and Assam.
(b) Gorkhas.
(c) Garhwalis.
