The Indian Postal Department and India Post Payment Banks (IPPB) have launched a new digital payment app DakPay. The launch of DakPay app took place in a virtual event today in where IT and Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad was present.
DakPay is not just a digital payment app, but it will also provide related bank and other postal services. The DakPay app also has the facility to scan QR codes for digital payments. At the launch event, Ravi Shankar Prasad praised the efforts of India Post Payments Bank during the fight against Covid-19.
