A New Political Party in Assam –
Ahead of 2021 Assam Legislative Assembly Election, All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) and Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP), spanned a new political party called Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP).
The name of the party formally announced by Assam Advisory Committee conveners Krishna Gopal Bhattacharjya and Basanta Deka.
With the slogan “ঘৰে ঘৰে আমি” (we will be in every household) the newly formed party will aim to topple the current BJP-led govt.
