Assam’s youngest multilingual singer Dhritishman Chakraborty conferred the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2022

Five-year-old Dhritishman Chakraborty, a native of Sivasagar in Assam, was dubbed as the youngest multilingual singer by the India Books of Records.

Assam’s youngest multilingual singer Dhritishman Chakrabrty conferred with Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Purashkar 2022. He is conferred PMRBP 2022 under the Art and Culture categories.

Dhritishman began singing at the age of three and now has 43 music video covers under his belt, including three in English, 33 in Hindi, four in Bengali, and three in Assamese. He grasped the lyrics of a song when he was just 11-months-old. Young Dhritishman aims to achieve his dream of becoming a rock singer with the support of his parents. According to Dhritishman’s mother, he has a knack for grasping lyrics so easily.

“At the tender age of 5 years, Dhritishman Chakraborty can sing fluently in five languages, holding the record of India’s youngest multilingual singer. I congratulate Dhritishman for winning the Rashtriya Bal Puraskar and wish him success. May he keep pursuing his passion”.

About Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2022

29 Children have been conferred the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar this Year, selected from all regions of the country for their exceptional achievements in Innovation (7), Social Service (4), Scholastic (1), Sports (8), Art & Culture (6) and Bravery (3) categories.  There are 15 Boys and 14 Girls among the awardees belonging to 21 States and UTs.

The cash prize of Rs.1,00,000/- was given to the awardees of PMRBP 2022 which was transferred online to the respective accounts of winners during the programme by the Hon’ble PM.

The Hon’ble Prime Minister interacted virtually with the winners of PMRBP 2022. Union Women and Child Development Minister Smt Smriti Zubin Irani and Dr. Munjpara Mahendrabhai, Minister of State were among those present on the occasion.
