BARC Recruitment 2023 – 4374 Stipendiary Trainee & Other Vacancy

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 4374 Technical Officer/C, Scientific Assistant/B, Technician/B, Category-I Stipendiary Trainee & Category-II Stipendiary Trainee Vacancy on Direct Recruitment/ Training Scheme.

BARC Recruitment 2023, post wise details are written below –


  1. Technical Officer/C

  • No of posts: 181 posts
  • Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 35 years as on closing date of receipt of application.
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have educational / technical qualifications such as M.Sc., M.Lib., B.E. / B.Tech. from a recognized University / Board of Technical Education of Central or State Government in prescribed disciplines.

  1. Scientific Assistant/ B

  • No of posts: 07 posts
  • Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 30 years as on closing date of receipt of application.
  • Educational Qualification: B.Sc.(Food Technology/ Home Science / Nutrition) with minimum 60% marks.

  1. Technician/ B

  • No of posts: 24 posts
  • Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 35 years as on closing date of receipt of application.
  • Educational Qualification: SSC PLUS Second Class Boiler Attendant’s Certificate .

  1. Category-I Stipendiary Trainee

  • No of posts: 1216 posts
  • Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 19 to 24 years as on closing date of receipt of application.
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have educational / technical qualifications from a recognized University / Board of Technical Education of Central or State Government. Diploma should be 3 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC / ITI / B.Sc. Candidates undergoing / completed M.Sc. Integrated course and applying for Post Code No.TR-01 to TR-06 shall produce B.Sc. degree Certificate.

  1. Category-II Stipendiary Trainee

  • No of posts: 2946 posts
  • Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 22 years as on closing date of receipt of application.
  • Educational Qualification:  
  1. SSC (with Science and Maths) with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate PLUS Trade Certificate in respective trade.
  2. SSC (with Science and Maths) with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate PLUS Trade Certificate in respective trade.
  3. HSC with Physics, Chemistry and Maths with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
  4. HSC with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology with minimum 60% marks in aggregate # HSC (Science) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate Plus 2 years Diploma recognized by Dental Council of India.

Other Criteria of BARC Recruitment 

  • Citizenship: Candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
  • Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below – 
  1. SC/ST: 5 years
  2. OBC: 3 years
  3. PwD (Unreserved): 10 years
  4. PwD (OBC): 13 years
  5. PwD (SC/ST): 15 years
