ISRO is all set to launch its communication satellite CMS-01 from Sriharikota’s Satish Dhawan Space Center (SDSC) on 17th of December. This information was given by the Indian Space Research Organization on Friday. The space agency said, “CMS-01 will be launched from the Second Launch Pad (SLP) via PSLV-C50, the 52nd mission of PSLV, on 17 December. According to weather conditions, this launch will be done at 15.41 hrs on December 17 at local time.
The PSLV-C50 PSLV has 22 flights with ‘XL’ configuration. ISRO stated that this will be the 77th launch vehicle mission to be launched from SDSC SHAR of Sriharikota. ISRO stated that this communication satellite is designed to provide service in the ‘Extended Sea Band’, which will cover the mainland of India, Andaman and Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands.
